A. For Richard Newton’s book, I think a good way to target the niche market that he is really trying to reach (20-60 year old females, interested in Japanese culture) is to get the book into book discussion boards within that particular market. Through those discussion boards, launching an “ask the author” session, where Newton could answer the question of some readers, and those who are interested in the book.
B. Howard College of Arts & Sciences Student Recruitment could treat the blog almost like a newsletter. Through an e-mail campaign, students could be encouraged to follow the blog, and then in intervals (three times a week, twice a week, once a week) a student, or particular major could be featured.
C. As a swimming pool installation company, the blog could be ideas for the client to make their backyard an entertainment spot, with their pool as the main feature. It could also serve as a forum to answer questions about maintenance, and getting the most out of your pool, even in the winter months.
